Chief Compliance Officer – Mining & Business Development

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for UHOA Uchean  Mining & Business Development ensures that all mining operations, trade, and business expansion activities adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions. The role bridges compliance oversight with strategic growth initiatives, balancing risk management with sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure mining operations meet local, regional, and international laws, including licensing, environmental standards, labor rights, and anti-corruption laws.

Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities in mining and related industries, establishing joint ventures, partnerships, and investor relations.

Risk Management: Develop and enforce policies for anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery, and ethical sourcing.

Community Relations: Uphold commitments to indigenous and local communities by ensuring fair benefit-sharing and development initiatives.

Reporting & Governance: Oversee transparent reporting systems for mineral exports, revenues, and community development funds.

Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with CEOs, Boards, and government stakeholders to align compliance structures with long-term business growth.
